The event is free but a £2.00 donation per adult is very welcome.
The Showcase Stage is all about showing the as-tounding wealth of local and regional Asian artistic talent. A wonderful mix of Bhangra, Bollywood, tradi-tional music and dance.
With traditional singing and dancing of Bholiyan (ode) from Punjab to the fast and energetic Rass Garba of Gu-jarat the Showcase Stage is the place to be for the Mela’s 10th Anniversary. Drawn from diverse backgrounds, the performances present dy-namic choreography, numerous costume changes, and pulsating music and dance, ranging from contemporary Bollywood to tradi-tional Asian dances that are true to their roots.
Come and join us on stage to take part in our most popular Bollywood dance workshop for young and old.
